In Famagusta police is looking for the bomber who almost killed two people
Famagusta police are investigating an attempted double homicide after a bomb attack outside a home in Liopetri the previous day.
At about 9 a.m., an unknown person threw a bomb into the yard of a newly built and not yet inhabited house, where the 50-year-old cottage owner and his 34-year-old relative were present at the time. Fortunately, no injuries were sustained.
Police and emergency responders arrived and examined the scene and classified the bomb as a high explosive device. The investigation continues.
