Elon Musk told us when his satellite network will cover Europe

The creator of SpaceX Elon Musk said that the Starlink satellite network will be launched in a test version in Europe in February-March 2021. He also spoke about plans to send out several thousand invitations to the beta version of Starlink in the United States and Canada in the coming days.

On October 26 in northern states of the USA and southern Canada the test of satellite network with broadband Internet access was launched at the price of $99 per month plus one-time payment of $499 for purchase of necessary equipment. Users of beta-version in USA reported about data transmission speed of 160 Mb/sec, though developers initially announced from 50 to 150 Mb/sec.

Elon Musk said that European countries will have access to the service after receiving approval from local regulators – their decision is expected in February or March.
