Coronavirus vaccination has started in Cyprus

On December 27, the Cypriot population began vaccinating against the COVID-19. The first dose of the vaccine was administered to Dr. Anastasios Tsiftsis, an employee of a nursing home in Limassol. The doctor assured his compatriots that the vaccine is completely safe and urged them to follow his example.

We should remind that earlier Nicos Anastasiades, President of Cyprus, and Chrysostomos II, Archbishop of the Cypriot Orthodox Church, expressed their willingness to set a personal example to the population. The head of state will be vaccinated on Monday, December 28 at 10 am, with a live broadcast. The archbishop will be vaccinated a day later.
