A 20-year-old driver from Larnaca was fined 2,000 euros for driving at 200 km/h
Larnaca District Court sentenced a guy who in the middle of the month was caught by the police on double speeding – the 20-year-old was speeding at 200 km/h where the limit was 100. The reckless driver was fined for €2,000.
The young man was stopped on the night of February 13 on the highway Nicosia – Larnaca, was arrested for speeding, was charged and released to await trial. Today he was sentenced to a fine of €2000 and the loss of his driving licence for two months.
In addition, the daredevil was given six penalty points for violation of traffic rules.
