Two explosions occurred in Paphos
Two simultaneous explosions shocked Paphos early Friday morning, August 21.
According to police, at around 3 a.m., a car bomb belonging to a 31-year-old woman exploded, causing severe damage to the car.
A short time later, another bomb exploded in the yard of Paphos’ apartment building, which belongs to a 28-year-old man. According to media reports, the explosion caused serious external damage to the building.
Both incidents occurred in different parts of the city and the police have not yet reported on whether the two incidents are related or not and whether there are suspects. An investigation is currently under way.
