Police in Cyprus have detained two young men accused of possessing and distributing child pornography on the Internet, according to the Cybercrime authority.

A 34-year-old man is believed to have uploaded a video of child sexual abuse material to a social network. A 23-year-old resident of Larnaca is suspected of having sent three graphic files to another user on a related topic.

The cell phones of both were seized as evidence and sent for examination, and investigations are ongoing.
