Coronavirus in Cyprus: a criminal case was filed against a covid dissident

In Famagusta, a criminal case was opened against a woman due to violation of the regime of self-isolation. Knowing about her covid-positive status, she went shopping on “Black Friday”.

A 46-year-old resident of Famagusta, who had a positive coronavirus test result, neglected the rules of self-isolation, left home and went shopping. The vigilant neighbors reported this to the police. Law enforcement officers found a dissident covid in one of the stores where there was a sale on the occasion of “Black Friday,” and sent her home. Now the violator is waiting for the court – after the 14 days of quarantine are over.

Another covid-infected Cypriot went for a walk in the village of Cyprus. A 61-year-old man disappeared from the local hospital in the middle of the night, in pajamas and barefoot. Soon he was found in one of the houses and returned to his room. We know about him that he suffers from dementia and mental disorder.
