The number of victims of the terrorist attack, which occurred in Vienna on Monday evening, reached 22 people – said the head of the Austrian Interior Ministry, Karl Nehammer at a press conference.

Also due to the shooting, which the attackers opened on visitors and passers-by in the center of the Austrian capital, four people were killed, including one of the attackers, who was eliminated by the police. It turned out to be a 20-year-old guy, previously convicted for trying to join the terrorist group IG.

Shooting incidents occurred on Monday in six districts of Vienna. The first shots were fired at a synagogue located in the city center.
