Paphos will have a park themed around the myths of ancient Greece

At the end of this year in Paphos starts the construction of a theme park Mythos – its concept will be based on ancient Greek and Cypriot mythology. Its arrangement should be completed in 2022-2023. Recall that previously it was supposed to open the park for visitors in 2021, but pandemic COVID-19 made adjustments.

The total investment in this facility will be about 12 million euros. Purchase of land area of about 42,000 square meters and design work cost 4.5 million. Cypriot and Hong Kong investors are investing in the construction of the park.

Park Mythos will be located in Neo Khorie on Akamas Peninsula, near Lacha. Its area is about 42 thousand square meters. It is assumed that in the first year of its work to visit him about 150,000 people, about 60% of this amount will consist of foreign tourists, the remaining share – the locals.

Entrance to the park will be paid and will cost 25 euros, and visitors will spend about 15 euros on souvenirs and food – in the park can spend a day. Based on these plans, the creators expect to make a million euros in profit annually.
