In June, in Limassol, a new beauty salon opened its doors, with the intriguing name Beverly Hills. We met with its charming hostess, Silva Dayan, who told our magazine about the concept of the place and its unique services, as well as about the features of the salon business in Cyprus.

Could you tell us about your career as a designer?
From my early years in university, I knew exactly what I wanted, which was to create a brand of my own. In the third year of my studies, I created and established the brand ‘Anna Dorothea Milano’ and I presented my first collection in 2013 in Milan.
Tiffany is a big brand with the story of your family behind it. Please tell us how it all started.It all started with the perfect combination of Mr. Renos Lyssiotis and Mrs. Miriam Lyssiotis and their love for beauty, art and creation. It was in 1971, only a couple of years after they got married, when my father encouraged and supported my mother to start her own business. My father, at the time, was an importer of Nina Ricci perfumes and accessories. My mother, on the other hand, having just her confidence, intuition and vision, went to Paris, got in a taxi and started visiting designer houses, one after another.
Irena Georgiadou, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hellenic Bank, has extensive professional experience in senior positions in public and private companies. She studied Politics and Economics (BA) at Bristol University in the UK, is a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA) and has a diploma in Corporate Finance, recognised by The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). She is married and has a son.
