November may become the month of the first snowfall at least on the highest peaks of the Troodos, predict Cypriot weather forecasters. They explain that this will happen due to the arrival of cold air masses combined with the influence of cyclones.
Temperatures in November are not expected to bring any special surprises and will generally correspond to the seasonal norm or slightly exceed it – mainly on the eastern coast. In general, Cyprus November differs significantly from October in terms of climate both in terms of increasing cumulative rainfall and decreasing temperature. During this period, the atmosphere is already acquiring winter characteristics.
The amount of precipitation will vary from 50% to 75% of the norm, except for the southeast, where it will be less than 50% of the norm. Increased rainfall is promised on the coast line.
