Cypriot coronavirus patients can again be treated in Israel

Israel’s Hadassah University Hospital (Jerusalem) will again begin accepting Cypriot patients with the severe form of COVID-19 in February. Recall that previously Cypriots had been treated in this institution – but in December Israel declared a lockdown and had to curtail this practice.

Cypriots carrying a severe form of coronavirus and in need of urgent medical care will have the right to be treated in the Jerusalem clinic. It is assumed that thanks to this possibility, the Cypriot health care system, which has been working at full stretch lately, will be slightly relieved.

It should be noted that Hadassah is planning to invest 150 million euros in the construction of a hospital in Nicosia (by 2024) and a rehabilitation center in Limassol (this project should be completed this year).
