Cypriots vaccinated against the coronavirus will be able to travel abroad by presenting a vaccination card, which will be issued to anyone who has undergone a two-stage vaccination course. This was announced by the deputy director of the Cyprus Health Service, Olga Kalakuta.
Vaccination cards will contain a standard set of information about the owners in English and Greek: personal data, dates of vaccination and what drug was used.
The “physical” version of the document will be given to Cypriots already after receiving the first dose of vaccination – it will contain the date of administration of the second dose. After completing the course, a person will get access to an online version of the card – he or she will be able to use it for travels abroad. The thematic Internet portal is compatible with similar systems in other EU countries.
