At the end of the weekend, the Cyprus police imposed 42 “coronavirus” fines

As a result of last Sunday, police in Cyprus brought 42 people to administrative responsibility – all of them somehow or other ignored the restrictions imposed in settlements to prevent the spread of the virus COVID-19.

A total of 1,868 checks were carried out during the reporting day: the largest number of checks – 500 and 431 – in Larnaca and Famagusta respectively, followed by Nicosia with a slight margin of 425, as well as Paphos (210), Limassol (181) and Morphou (121). Larnaca also leads with 14 people, followed by 14 residents of the capital, six – Famagusta, five – Paphos, three – Morphou and one Limassol.

No institution or organization has been brought to responsibility.
