A restaurant was blown up in Cyprus

In the village of Palaichori in the metropolitan area of Cyprus, an explosion occurred in a local restaurant this morning.

It is reported that an “unidentified device” exploded in the restaurant around 4 a.m. The building has suffered significant damage, there is no information about the victims and the wounded – it is assumed there were no casualties.
The scene is cordoned off. Police are specifying the nature of the explosion and also finding out whether the owner of the restaurant had any serious conflicts with anyone.

We should remind that earlier this month the office of a company in Nicosia and a parked car were blown up and in both cases the explosions were criminal in nature.
