On the night of last Sunday, an explosion was heard on the Archangel Street in Nicosia – it destroyed a car parked near one of the houses.

Another car, which was standing nearby, was damaged. In addition, the house window was broken by the shock wave.
Special services, who arrived at the scene, cordoned off the location and found that an explosive device had been built into the car. The policemen are conducting an inspection.

This is the second explosion in the capital in recent days – on Friday morning, an unknown man threw a grenade at the company office on Griva Digeni. There were no casualties, only the company’s property was damaged.
