British airline Jet2 announced the cancellation of flights to Cyprus, as the UK is on the verge of a second lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic and, accordingly, a ban on overseas travel for minor reasons.
The carrier’s press office specifies that flights to Larnaca and Paphos are expected to resume from February 13, 2021. Communication by Jet2 with Greece has also been suspended. As a tentative date of resumption of flights to Crete and Rhodes, the representative of the company calls March 30, 2021.
Recall that the cancellation of air service with Cyprus by Jet2 followed similar actions by other British operators – TUI and Thomas Cook.
