Autumn storms left four Cypriot provinces without electricity

The predictions of Cypriot weather forecasters confirmed – the island was flooded with autumn rains. Heavy rains are now observed from Famagusta to Paphos, there is a noticeable coldness, in some places the rains are accompanied by thunderstorms and hail. Electricity supply problems have been observed in four provinces due to worsening weather.

There are power outages in the following provinces: Nicosia (Strovolos, Agrokipia, Astromeritis, Eurihos, Kato Kutraf, Micero, Kato Moni and Peristeron); Limassol (Asomatos, Fasouri, Agia Fila, Zakaki, Ipsona and Cerkezi); Famagusta (Dasaki Ahnas); and Paphos (Callepia).
