28 million euros will be spent on the transition of Cypriot schools to the digital

The Government of Cyprus announced a tender for the project of modernization of education – the transition of schools to the digital age involves the creation of an electronic management system. According to the Minister of Education Prodromos Prodromos, the project budget is 25.335 million euros plus VAT, which means that the total investment will be 27.8 million.

The aim of the project is to ensure prompt availability of all information on education for all participants of this process and to give them convenient tools for everyday use. These include application forms, information on the school program and extracurricular activities, attendance and performance monitoring, electronic diaries and magazines, test and examination results, solving enrollment and translation issues, feedback with the Ministry of Education, etc.

The deadline for the tender is December 18, and the project will be completed by 2023.
