Yellow warning again in Cyprus due to heat
On Thursday the temperature inside the island will be high again and the thermometer column will rise to +41C inside the country. The Weather Service has issued a yellow weather warning again. It will be valid from 13:00 to 17:00.
The sky is expected to be clear, but during the daytime clouds may form in the mountains and in some areas south of Troodos and local rain may occur.
Although +41C is expected in Nicosia and its environs, coastal areas will be slightly cooler from +32 to +34 degrees Celsius.
Temperatures will drop to +24C at night in most areas, and to +20C in the mountains.
On Friday and weekends sunny weather is expected. Temperatures will remain at the same level.
