In April, Yandex announced the launch of a new text, audio and video messaging service. The application is available for Android and iOS operating systems. The service can also be launched on a computer in Yandex.Browser and on yandex.ru without installing a separate program.

Key features included the following:

• Personal messages and chats
• Voice messages that can be converted into text using Yandex’s own SpeechKit speech recognition technology;
• Popular news and information channels, Yandex, Kinopoisk channels and other channels.
• Fast reactions and stickers

All Yandex users have been added to the new messenger, and all that is required is to allow the app to access to contacts.
