Vaccinated Cypriots exempt from entry restrictions

As of April 1, all passengers who have undergone two stages of coronavirus vaccination in Cyprus and have the appropriate certificate have been exempted from restrictions on entry into the country, the Cypriot Ministry of Transport has announced.

Upon arrival in Cyprus, vaccinated travellers will no longer have to undergo kovid entry tests or perform any self-exclusion or quarantine obligations. It does not matter what country or nationality the passenger is returning from.
What matters is the time since the second or only dose of the vaccine was administered before travel. For Janssen/Johnson & Johnson and Moderna it is 14 days, for Pfizer-BioNTech and Vaxzevria (AstraZeneca) seven days.
The same conditions apply to vaccinated Israeli citizens arriving in Cyprus.

The vaccination does not exempt from the Health Ministry’s decrees in force in the country, the ministry stressed. Those arriving will still have to take rapid tests when necessary, observe curfew, send an SMS before going out and observe sanitary protocols.

In addition, it will still be necessary to submit the relevant online application on the CyprusFlightpass online platform before departure.
