From 1 May, UK citizens vaccinated against coronavirus with one of the vaccines approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) will be allowed free entry to Cyprus, CNA reports, citing the head of the tourism sub-ministry, Savvas Perdios.
The tourist must receive both doses of the vaccine, with the second vaccination to be given at least a week before travel. In this case it will be possible to avoid presenting certificates of negative PCR-test for coronavirus and not to be quarantined on arrival in Cyprus.
As a reminder, a special regime is now in place for those arriving from the UK – they are sent to quarantine hotels for a minimum of 7-10 days.
