The Turkish ship Oruc Reis has returned to the shelf, which Greece considers its exclusive economic zone.
Three weeks ago, the ship left the disputed territory in the Eastern Mediterranean and returned to the shores of Turkish Antalya. According to official Turkish sources, this was due to the necessary repairs.
A month ago the situation in this region became so hot that an emergency summit of EU member states with access to the Mediterranean Sea was held. And France, in support of Greece, sent a frigate of naval forces to the Greek coast.
At the end of the meeting it was decided to stop the work and a few days later the Turkish vessel returned to the port of departure.
Three weeks later, the Oruc Reis, accompanied by two more ships, returned to the shelf and will remain there until 22 October.
