Shelling continues in Karabakh, despite the ceasefire agreement

As a result of the meeting held late last week in Moscow with the Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers, a ceasefire agreement was signed for humanitarian purposes. The regime came into force at noon on October 10.

But already on the same day, the parties accused each other of violating the ceasefire.

Advisor to the President of Azerbaijan said that the Armenian armed forces carried out a missile attack in the densely populated area of Ganja, which killed 9 people.

The spokesman for the Armenian Defense Ministry denied the accusations of shelling the city of Ganja from Armenian territory. This was reported by RIA Novosti agency.

On Monday, October 12, it became known that Sergey Lavrov will hold talks with Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan today.

So far, shelling continues on the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh.
