Traffic jam in the Suez Canal has had little impact on the Cypriot economy
The recent traffic jam in the Suez Canal caused by the container ship Ever Given, which got stuck in the channel, has been resolved without any major problems for the Cypriot economy, according to Deputy Minister of Shipping Vasilis Dimitriadis.
The official explained that of all the stranded vessels, only two belonged to the Cypriot supply chain.
Dimitriadis added that overall and in general, the Cypriot shipping industry has shown particular resilience in the crisis compared to other areas of the economy.
