Inland temperatures on Monday are expected to reach 41C as the island prepares for another yellow weather warning for high temperatures and red warning for fires.
According to the weather forecast, the temperature elsewhere is set to reach around 31C in the west and southwest coast and 33C in the remaining coast and mountains.
After lunchtime, the weather may turn cloudy with the possibility of isolated showers. Storms can not be excluded in mountainous areas or even inland in the afternoon.
