The situation in Nagorno-Karabakh is getting hotter

Yesterday, Sunday, fighting resumed in the Nagorno-Karabakh region. At the same time media report on the operation carefully prepared and planned by the Azerbaijani side.

General mobilization has already been announced in Armenia, martial law and partial mobilization has also been introduced in Azerbaijan, curfews have been introduced in the border regions with Karabagh, and Baku airport has restricted its work.

The two states now accuse each other of initiating shelling and publish footage of the destruction of military equipment and report hundreds of killed soldiers.
Many countries are calling on both sides to stop the shelling. Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and French President Emmanuel Macron have already had telephone conversations with the leaders of both countries. UN Secretary General António Guterres has also called for a ceasefire.

Just a few hours ago, in its official statement, the EU called on third countries not to interfere in the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh.
