The number of people killed in the earthquake in Izmir has increased up to 62
The number of victims of the earthquake with magnitude 6.6, which occurred in Izmir on October 30, has increased up to 62 people – these are the latest data from Agency of Emergency Situations and Natural Disasters of Turkey (AFAD).
213 out of 940 wounded are still being treated in hospital. Dozens of people remain under rubble, and eight destroyed apartment buildings are still being searched.
