Germany to introduce partial isolation from Monday

In Germany, a regime of partial isolation has been introduced as part of the fight against the spread of COVID-19.

This means that throughout the country restaurants, bars, cinemas, theaters, indoor sports fields, gyms, etc. will suspend operation for at least one month. The retail sector, hairdressing salons and schools will continue to operate as usual. At the same time, the country’s borders will remain open.

In recent days the coronavirus incidence in Germany has reached about 20,000 cases per day.
