The Cypriot Ministry of Health reports that the incidence of coronavirus in Cyprus after the Christmas holidays has almost doubled – partly because for the first time the statistics immediately include the results of rapid tests for COVID-19.

At present 153 patients with confirmed coronavirus are being treated at four hospitals (51 of them are in serious condition).
