The decision was made after mass protests demanding to invalidate the voting results.
Today, with reference to the press service of the Central Election Commission of Kyrgyzstan, it is reported that the CEC, citing “numerous violations during the voting in the pre-election period,” declared the parliamentary elections held in the country invalid.
It was the Kyrgyz demonstrators who demanded the cancellation of the election results, who seized the buildings of key state services and the country.
