Teenagers suspected of stealing 200,000 euros in Limassol

Two Limassol teenagers are suspected of stealing more than 200 000 euros. Both have already been detained by the police, and a court has ordered seven days’ arrest.

Recall that on the night of March 8, unknown offenders broke into the home of a 25-year-old businessman in Germasoge and stole a Patek Philippe watch, two Rolex watches, appliances and €30,000 in cash. The total amount stolen was almost 210 000 euros.

The suspects are teenagers aged 15 and 16, both Greek Cypriots. The older of the two was arrested first in another case, an armed robbery of a bakery on Kolonakiou Street, together with a 21-year-old accomplice. His possible involvement in a major theft also came to light during the investigation.
