On Friday, a charity event for victims in Lebanon will be held all over Cyprus

Non-governmental organizations volunteering in Cyprus in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Government of Lebanon, organized the collection of humanitarian aid for the victims of the explosion. This initiative has already been supported by municipalities, communities, private enterprises, non-governmental organizations and citizens of the island.

Everything necessary will be gathered on the basis of real needs and as requested by the Government of Lebanon.

So far, the list of essential products has included canned food (all kinds), cereals, nuts and crackers, general purpose flour and milk powder for children.

The collection of “powdered foods” will start on Friday 7 August 2020.

1. Nicosia - All-Cypriot centre for the management of humanitarian aid. Nicosia, State Fair (After the KEP, next entrance on the left, go to stall 59).
