Natalie Portman plans to create a women’s football club
Natalie Portman will create Angel City women’s football club. Project owners include Jessica Chastain, Eva Longoria, Jennifer Garner, Serena Williams and former American footballers Lauren Cheney Holiday and Abby Wambach.
Angel City will play in the top division of women’s teams and will join the National Women’s Football League in 2022.
The club is being created to change the perception of women’s sport, according to Portman.
