Most restrictions in Cyprus will be lifted in the coming days

Yesterday, the Cabinet of Ministers of Cyprus, based on the good epidemiological situation on the island, decided to further lift the restrictions.

From June 5th swimming pools will open and from June 9th shopping centers, airports and seaports (for category 1 and 2 countries), indoor cafes and restaurants, hotels, kindergartens, full-time schools, theaters and cinemas, summer camps and outdoor playgrounds will be open again.

Starting from June 13 casinos, choreographic studios and martial arts schools, gyms, water parks and lunar parks will start operating. On the same day Cyprus will cease to operate the first category of risk groups and change the second.

On 24 June, the 10-person restrictions for companies will be lifted. Although wedding ceremonies, christenings, festivals will be allowed only after September 1. Theatres and cinemas will not open until August 1.

It is not yet announced when the fourth stage of the lifting of the restrictions will be adopted.
