Missing elderly bather cannot be found for two days in Larnaca
The search continues in Larnaca for an elderly woman who went swimming the day before and did not return. As reports CNA, on Sunday afternoon a 70 year old local resident came with a friend to the beach Finikoudes, entered the water – and disappeared.
All day and Sunday evening the woman was searched in vain on the water and from the air. However, when darkness fell, the search had to fold. Today the search is still going on, the rescuers are searching the waters near the beach, police boats and aviation are also involved.
