According to the Cyprus Ministry of Health, as of February 13, 44,429 people have already been vaccinated against coronavirus COVID-19 in vaccination centers – about 5% of the country’s population.
It is specified that of this number, 14,837 people have completed vaccination completely, receiving two doses of the drug. The remaining 29,592 people have received only the first dose of the vaccine.
Recall that in recent days the incidence of coronavirus in Cyprus has decreased significantly compared to the time “before the lockdown” and has an average of 120 cases per day. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 221 people have died in the country, mostly elderly patients.
