Manchester City defeated Liverpool 4-0 in the 32nd round of the English championship.
The meeting was held in Manchester at the Etihad Stadium. The match was officiated by referee Anthony Taylor.
The score was opened in the middle of the first half. On 25 minutes, Kevin De Bruyne scored an 11-meter goal. 10 minutes later, Rahim Sterling from a pass by Philip Foden increased the score to 2-0.
At the end of the first half, Foden scored the third goal to Liverpool from De Bruyne’s assist.
In the second half, Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain sent the ball into his own goal.
With 66 points, Manchester City is second in the English Premier League. Liverpool, with 86 points, has already secured the championship.
