Larnaca resident to face charges for letting a teenager drive

The Larnaca traffic police stopped a car that was driving over the speed limit of 82 km/h, while the speed limit was 65. However, the speed limit violation was not the only problem: the owner of the car let a 13-year-old boy behind the wheel.

As the Reporter reports, the boy’s 46-year-old uncle was in the front seat, and two other passengers were in the back seat: a 20-year-old boy and a 19-year-old girl.

The man was charged with allowing a minor without a driver’s license to drive. The three adults were also fined 300 euros each for violating health regulations during the pandemic.
