Larnaca Castle is temporarily closed
The Department of Antiquities of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works of Cyprus informs that Larnaca Castle will be closed to the public from September 25, 2020 to December 31, 2020.
During this time, the historical monument will be installed a new system of internal and external lighting.
Larnaca Castle, according to Wikipedia, is a medieval Ottoman fortress founded by Europeans in the XIV century and rebuilt by the Turks in 1625 to protect Larnaca Harbor. Now there is a historical museum.
