In Paphos, police is looking for tenants who ran away with the landlord’s curtains
A 60-year-old landlady in Paphos has accused tenants of not paying rent and stealing property. According to the woman, a couple of tenants owed her rent and disappeared, taking with them all the furnishings in the apartment, right down to the curtains.
As the lady told the police, along with a couple of tenants (49 and 62 years) the TV set, refrigerator, washing machine, beds, tables, chairs and curtains disappeared from her apartment. The total amount of stolen goods has exceeded €1800, plus the tenants owed the landlady for the apartment.
Law enforcers have launched a search for the tenants.
