In Limassol, thieves robbed and blew up an apartment building
Last weekend there was a fire in a residential cottage in the Episkopi district of Limassol. It was found that the cause of the fire was an explosion – and before that the owners had been robbed of a large sum of money.
So far unknown culprits took from the house EUR 180 000, jewelry and two watches worth EUR 30 000. They then set off an explosion and left the scene. The fire quickly spread and the cottage was completely burnt out. The owners were not at home at the time.
The police are investigating all the circumstances of what happened.
