In autumn, two golf tournaments will be held in Cyprus without spectators

“European Tour”, managing three leading professional golf tours,
announced three more tournaments within the updated schedule for 2020. Two of them will be held in Cyprus.

Cyprus Open will be held from October 29 to November 1, and from November 5 to 8 will be the Cyprus Classic tournament. Both events will be held on the fields of Aphrodite Hills Resort.

The prize fund will be 1 million euros for each tournament.

Unfortunately, only TV viewers will be able to see the competition, the tournaments will be fully covered by the networks European Tour Productions and Sky Sports Television.

“Conducting these two consecutive tournaments clearly makes the dream of our country a reality – to become a favorite sports and thematic direction in Europe. It seems that the future of Cyprus is already here,” said Andrew Darker, director of golf at Aphrodite Hills Resort.

“Golf in Cyprus is gaining momentum as we join forces to promote our first-class infrastructure and excellent climate to play all year round”.
