Huawei to overtake Samsung in smartphones sales by end of 2020

According to Richard Yuya, Huawei Consumer Business CEO, by the end of 2020, Huawei will supersede Samsung as the largest smartphone seller in the world. The company has already taken the second place from Apple in the middle of last year. In 2018, Huawei sold more than 200 million smartphones, which is 30% more than the previous year. The company also sold more than 100 million smart devices, including tablets and wearable devices, Yuya added. Sales growth led to an increase in revenue from Huawei’s consumer business to US$ 52 billion, which is more than 40% compared to last year.
