From August 1, Cyprus will welcome tourists from the UK

On Monday, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Cyprus announced that the United Kingdom had been moved to category B as of 1 August, as previously planned.

All passengers arriving from B-category countries must submit a negative test result at least 72 hours before departure.

Passengers from B Category countries who fall into the categories below may submit a negative test upon arrival in the Republic:

– Cypriot citizens and their family members (foreign spouses, minor children and their parents);

– All who are legal citizens of the Republic of Cyprus;

– Persons who are entitled to enter in accordance with the Vienna Convention;

– Persons, irrespective of nationality, who have the right to enter the Republic by permission and in accordance with the Decree on the Definition of Measures for the Prevention and Dissemination of the Coronavirus, of 2020;

– Individuals, regardless of nationality, whose country of permanent residence does not provide services (private or public) to conduct clinical trials at COVID-19.

All passengers, regardless of country of arrival, are required to apply for a special permit at https://cyprusflightpass.gov.cy/ within 24 hours prior to their arrival in Cyprus.
