Cyprus epidemiologists hope to see double-digit numbers of coronavirus COVID-19 morbidity in the country already in November – this statement was made by CNA Dr. Michalis Voniatis.
The epidemiologist said he expects new coronavirus cases to decline by the end of the month. Voniatis called the current situation quite serious, but noted that the dynamics largely depend on the discipline that the Cypriots will show if they follow the restrictive measures announced by the government. “We hope to see some improvements in the next ten days,” he said.
The coronavirus restrictions in Cyprus will last until at least July next year, the expert said – the specific timing depends on the results of the vaccine’s development and use.
