Once air traffic on the island has been restored and all restrictions due to the coronavirus have been lifted, Cyprus will deport 17 migrants involved in the terrorist attacks, members of an extremist group. This was reported to Associated Press in the Ministry of Interior.
Now the men are in a detention center for migrants. Information about their citizenship is not yet disclosed. But yesterday Interior Minister Nikos Nouris told Omega TV that 17 people, who are currently in the detention center, are members of ISIS. This was found out as a result of a routine inspection through Interpol. As it turned out, these men were wanted for their ties to the Islamic State and they will be deported soon.
