Cyprus retail year decreased by 4%

The cost and volume of retail trade in Cyprus as a result of the nine months of this year, and specifically September showed a decline of about 4% – these are the data from the Statistics Service of Cyprus.

According to preliminary estimates, in September the value index of retail trade turnover decreased by 3.9% compared to September 2019. From January to this year, this index lost 4.3% compared to the same period last year.

Physical Volume Index of retail trade this September decreased by 2.6% compared to the previous year, and for nine months lost 2.8% compared to the same period in 2019.
