Cyprus police caught two criminals for their Greek colleagues

The Cypriot police, on the basis of Europol warrants, detained two men wanted by the Greek authorities, CNA reports.

One of the detainees, a 33-year-old man, was sentenced in absentia to 15 years in prison for armed robbery. The second offender, a 52-year-old man, was found guilty of drug distribution and sentenced to 4 years and 9 months in prison.

The detainees will soon be extradited to Greece.
